***you must book a spot for every person in your party, INCLUDING ADULTS, in order for us to accurately track and limit the number of people in the museum***
We are excited to welcome families back into the Museum, and we are thankful for your loyalty over the past months! Now that we are reopening our doors, we want to make sure that everyone plays safely and has fun, so let's practice patience and respect while playing at the Museum.
To create a Museum that is as safe as possible for everyone who visits, we have created new hours, rules, cleaning protocols and operating procedures. Even our booking software is different. As we reopen our doors, we will make changes and adjustment as needed, so please be patient with us!
Here is what you need to know:
Playtimes lasting 2 hours each will be available Tuesdays-Saturdays and must be booked in advance
Please book a spot for every person over the age of 12 months, including all adults in the group
Non-Member Pricing: $5 for each person over the age of 12 months, including parents, caregivers, grandparents, older siblings, etc. The whole payment will be due at the time of booking.
Members will be able to book for free starting at March 1 for days after March 13 and must reserve a spot for each person in your party, including adults.
Please be considerate when booking your playtime so that many families have a chance to visit the museum.
At this point, we cannot accommodate walk-ins. If you find yourself near the Museum and would like to visit, please still book here first!
If a non-members books a spot reserved for member families, they will be asked to purchase / renew a membership upon arrival.
The Museum is reopening at limited capacity so everyone can play safely. No more than 20 visitors and one staff member will be in the Museum gallery at any given time. Effective March 13, attendance will increase to 30 visitors and 2 staff members.
All Museum visitors over 24 months-old will be required to wear face coverings that effectively cover both nose and mouth. There are no exceptions - we want to keep everyone as safe as possible!
Forgot your mask? We have extras and would be happy to provide you with one!
Please respect social distancing practices to ensure that your household or small bubble is maintaining 6 feet of distance from other households.
While you visit the Museum, we will be cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched areas. Between two hour visit, we will be deep cleaning the entire Museum, so that all exhibits and toys are clean and ready for you! We are using TB-CIDE QUAT Cleaner & Disinfectant and Microban 24 Sanitizing Spray. Both effectively kill the virus that causes COVID-19.
Everyone who visits the Museum, will be asked to fill out a Liability Waiver. You can take a look at it ahead of your visit by clicking here (but you'll get a copy when you arrive at the Museum)
CANCELLATION & CLOSURE POLICY
If you have to cancel your booked playtime because someone in your family isn't feeling well, just give us a call and we'll work with you on a refund. We appreciate cancellations about 12 hours in advance, be we understand that this is not always possible. To cancel, call (907) 374-6873.
No-shows will not receive a refund.
If an FCM employee is contacted regarding a potential exposure through contact tracing, the Museum will close immediately and will not reopen until all staff have received negative COVID-19 tests. Any cancelled museum visits will be refunded. All museum guests that have attended the museum in the window of potential exposure will be contacted directly and informed of the potential exposure.
If an FCM employee is diagnosed with COVID-19 the museum will close immediately and will not reopen until all other staff have received negative COVID-19 tests. The employee that has tested positive will remain out from work until 10 days after symptoms began AND they have remained fever free without medicine for 48 hours. Any cancelled museum visits will be refunded. All museum guests that have attended the museum in the window of potential exposure will be contacted directly and informed of the potential exposure.
If FCM is notified that a visitor to the museum was likely positive for COVID-19 at the time of their visit, the Museum will close immediately and will not reopen until all staff have received negative COVID-19 tests. Any cancelled museum visits will be refunded. All museum guests that have attended the museum in the window of potential exposure will be contacted directly and informed of the potential exposure.
We're excited to announce that memberships will be reactivated exactly one year after our initial closure began. At the beginning of March, each family with a paused membership will receive an email with their new membership expiration date - so keep an eye on your inbox! You can also pick up a new membership card upon your first visit to the Museum.
On March 1, we'll be adding new playtimes for members to our booking calendar and increase the capacity for each time slot to 30. At this point, members will be able to reserve spots to play at the Museum by clicking through the calendar to the weeks after March 13. Please be considerate when booking playtimes to ensure that many families are able to snag spots.
To take advantage of the 10% discount for birthday parties, use discount MEMBERBIRTHDAY. Party reservations are available on Sundays and continue to include private access to the Museum.
We want to reiterate that this is our plan, but that our plans are flexible and are subject to change.
