covid precautions

  • Masking will be required Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am until 12pm for all guests 2 years and older.

  • Masking will be optional and strongly encouraged during all other playtimes so long as our community case rate level is low, per CDC standards, as shown on their website.

  • If our community case rate level increases to medium or high, per CDC standards, we will immediately return to universal masking until our community case rate returns to low.

  • Private rentals will choose their own masking policy which Museum staff will help to enforce

  • Staff will continue to mask in all public spaces at the Museum.

  • Staff will continue to use COVID-19 screening questions upon entry.

  • Guests will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entry.

  • Staff will continue to sanitize all high touch surfaces throughout the day.

  • Any memberships sold will not be eligible for refunds, pauses, extensions, transfers etc. should we return to masking due to community case rates.

  • Summer camps will follow FCM masking policy.

cancellation & closure policy

If you have to cancel your booked playtime because someone in your family isn't feeling well, just give us a call and we'll work with you on a refund. We appreciate cancellations about 12 hours in advance, but we understand that this is not always possible. To cancel, call (907) 374-6873.

No-shows will not receive a refund.

If an FCM employee is diagnosed with COVID-19, the employee will remain out of the museum until cleared to return following CDC guidelines. All other staff will be tested for COVID-19.

If the museum has to close due to exposure or staffing restrictions, cancelled museum visits will be refunded.

museum memberships

Members are able to reserve spots to play at the Museum by clicking through the calendar and choosing the "Member Visit" option to book for free. Please be considerate when booking playtimes to ensure that many families are able to reserve playtime spots.

You must book a spot for every person in your party, INCLUDING ADULTS, so we can accurately track and limit the number of people in the museum.
If you see open spots in the other calendar (member / non-member), give us a call and we'll book your playtime manually! 907-374-7060
