Born in Kentucky and relocating to Alaska as an adult, Meredith loves exploring Fairbanks by foot and by ski. While she always dreamed of being a veterinarian, her two cats and two dogs keep her well fulfilled on the animal front, and working for a small non-profit allows her the opportunity to wear many hats and learn new skills every day. Meredith's favorite thing to do at the museum is build mazes in the water table.
Jessica, born in Southern California, has called Fairbanks home now for 7 years. As a child, she hoped to become a pastry chef and a teacher, and as our education manager, she is doing just that. We think maybe she's a secret pastry chef on the side too. Her favorite thing to play with at the museum is the blue blocks and Jessica's favorite things to do in her spare time are crafting and getting outside to do things like snowmobile and walk her dogs.
Kaley was born on the east coast, but has called Fairbanks home for 12 years. As a child she dreamed of being a marine biologist, and the way she brings science into kids lives at the museum tells us that the scientist in her is still very much alive! Unsurprisingly, one of her favorite things about working at FCM is getting to teach using fun and unique methods. Kaley's hidden talent is that she got her blackbelt when she graduated high school.
Stephanie was born in California but grew up in Alaska, just recently moving up to Fairbanks. Her favorite thing about the museum is that she can work and play at the same time. You can find her playing in the water table, her favorite exhibit at the museum, even if cleaning it is a pain. In her free time, Stephanie likes to get outside to go hiking, or cozy up to watch movies.

Kalena just moved to Fairbanks and started at the museum just days after arriving! So far her favorite thing to play with at the museum is the air maze and she is loving her new coworkers and the snack selection. In her free time, Kalena likes to read, fish, and hang out with her cat, and she is eager to start her first garden this Spring!
