For now, the museum remains closed to the public. However, COVID-19 permitting, we do plan to reopen, with many precautions, in January!
Over the past weeks, we have been developing programming and activities that offer fun, learning and exploration in a safe environment. Fall classes in October and November offer themed activities in the museum while we follow safety procedures.
We continue to monitor the developments of COVID-19 cases in Fairbanks, in Alaska and the rest of the country, and we are working closely with our staff, Board of Directors, Association of Children's Museums, the Northwest Association of Youth Museums, and Museums Alaska to make sure we choose best course of action.
